Re: In Search of Pre-Made Body Linens

I just got some from Slav Medieval Shop on etsy: https://www.etsy.com/shop/SlavMedievalShop She sews modern tags into the collar, so you might have to remove and restitch if you care - but the work is quite nice and the price quite fair I thought. Very good for "I just don't have the time to do...

Re: Boromir bag build

That is nice work! The stitching must have taken foreeeeevvver. I especially like how you used the middle part of Shockbolt's Boromir tabard-clasp as button. It's *exactly* the kinf of thing WETA would have done. Is your client planning on using it, either out in the field or in cosplay or...

Oh my word that looks like an incredible time! Authenticity is earned through skill, and our past experiences have truly paid off noticeable dividends in comfort, efficiency, and functionality. The accumulated expertise rolls off even the pictures. :) If I may ask, do you have any idea what your mil...

Oh that sounds lovely!

Was the instrument choice inspired by Wardruna / Einar Selvik, by any chance? :)

Re: Just finished a pour.

Oh, the work of it was all caedmon - I just did some extrusions of the vector work he did. I was gonna ask about the size to: I remember once upon a time when I sent the model, caedmon you said they might be a little big? Shapeways has long since totally botched their creation UI, but I think I can ...

Re: Boromir bag build

Hrmm... In line with Iodo's reasoning, I was doing some research on the great "outdoor gear revolution" of the late 19th-early 20th century and came across the manner of thought that became the M1928 haversack. It's basically Iodo's picnic roll, with a bunch of extra buckles and straps to ...

Re: Boromir bag build

You know... looking at it again, I'm not certain it *is* a bag. ... I think it might just be a blanket cover. That said, no reason one couldn't do any number of bags or rolls on that general pattern. I'd be inclined to go the portmanteu route as well, but yeah - soft sides means a comparatively smal...

Re: Custom Ranger Sword- "Sûlcrist"

Oh cool! I love the name. :) Also I love the general form: I think we're narrowing down on a nice book-friendly aesthetic, which is all kinds of cool. One thing I did run across in the research for Elenglin was that the only references to characters on blades I could find was I believe in ...
