I wonder if that would work for bone. My cousin gave me a deer leg that I’m thinking on how to flatten it for buttons and such.

Thank you my friends! Now it’s sketching out to work in the babies initials and make the pattern. You’re right Elleth they did a marvelous job only in the films there was so little use of pouches and packs.

I’ll second the use of a lap board. If you want something to give you nice spacing for cheap get a metal fork from a thrift store flatten it and file the prongs. It’s what I use and I love it and it looks really nice.
