That's awesome. Is he borrowing your gear, or did he acquire his own? it's all his, the belt and pouch are from his steampunk kit and I made him the surcoat for farther day, he also has a pair of leather vambraces but he forgot to wear them, and want's a cloak as well so that's Christmas sorted :P ...

I love the braided leather ties. I used them on my jerkin as well. Though mine is linen, because southern California.

I think the leaf/ arrowhead design would fit great. Maybe stitch the vein design in?

I got a bottle of it and used it to dye the brain tanned bag I made. I had to do two passes to even it out a bit, but I think it turned out pretty good.

Seems like a modernized version of his duster. Kind of cool but I don't know how useful it would be as anything other than fashion .
