Re: New Belt!
Love it. The stamping is great, you have a good eye for embellishments.
Re: New Pouch
Yeah, I absolutely love this. On Instagram I believe you said you used a 5-ounce buffalo leather from Hide House, right? I'm surprised that it worked so well with a 5-ounce leather! Seems a little heavier than I would probably have thought to use for a pouch like this. It turned out just beautifull...

Re: Dwarven Baldric and Belt
The pattern is very nicely rendered - I assume that's the laser machine you've talked about? I assume you do the design yourself in some kind of vector package? Yep, it's all lasered on. It's the best way to ensure dwarven precision. We found a knotwork design he liked and modified and expanded it ...

I run a leather workshop, so I tend to have at least one ranger-y project going at a time, the most recent was the pouch here: viewtopic.php?f=25&t=4339

Re: Dwarven Baldric and Belt
I'm particularly fond of the belt...it's right on the money for a dwarf. The buckle has a similar feel to the West Door of Moria. it all came together based on the buckle. He wanted a wide belt, but the buckle was only 1.5", so we did the weave style so it can be a 3" belt all together, o...

Dwarven Baldric and Belt
A dwarf themed baldric and belt I made for Bumr Blackbrand. It has a few more hard lines than my normal style baldric, with etched knotwork and forged buckles that he tracked down. The sword and knife in the baldric are not the ones he was planning on using them with, but they were the most appropri...

Re: Looking to have my kit critiqued part 2
I had a few DSA sword about 10 years ago and they were ok. Very heavy blades, and very questionable cast hilts. The stuff I've handled from them in the past 3 or so years has been outstanding in construction and handling, so they've definitely come a long way.

I *adore* the sigil! It's perfect!
Thanks! I've been toying with the design for a while. I think this is the 8 or 9th draft, but I'm very happy with this version.

Re: Grommet's Leathercraft
There's a separate link there where someone used a fully threaded rod and an eyebolt. That seems a lot easier, if angled a bit weird.
