nice job, I think these changes will work well :P
Gimli: It's true you don't see many Dwarf-women. And in fact, they are so alike in voice and appearance, that they are often mistaken for Dwarf-men.
Aragorn: It's the beards.

I like it, especially how it makes our expectations clear while avoiding any "or else" dictatorial language.

Got a materials Vendor list started up...please add to it. We'll let that one run for a few days, and then we'll start another to build additional information for practical applications, patterns, and other shtuff.

I think this will all go a long ways towards protecting and growing our community at the same time, for the long haul. Good discussion, everyone.

I see that happen in a large variety of different communities, from Renfaire to Burningman. In WMA/HEMA certainly this is a tendency as well. And I expect that to happen here in Middle-Earth Rangering as well, although it will take a long time.

At bottom, what I like to see is sharing an inspiration, whether it's Andy's original walk in the woods, or Viggo Mortensen's swan dive into the character of Strider. Then can individuals decide in what manner they desire to emulate this.
